A purchase of a program note includes a one-page, researched, professional essay that contextualizes the show’s background and your production’s thematic approach to the audience, for you to include in the program. Included in the price is an introductory meeting, where we can discuss your production aims and expectations for the note, as well as a follow-up meeting once I have finished the first draft of the note, where we can discuss any adjustments you’d like made.

A research packet includes any pertinent information about the show/playwright—including history and sociocultural context—along with insight into your production. This information is then translated into a neat, well-formatted, interactive slideshows, which can be made available to your audience through QR codes in the lobby and/or program. Included in the price is an introductory meeting in which we can discuss your production aims and which information you find most applicable for the audience, along with two additional check-ins as I conduct research and craft the slideshow.

When you purchase a research packet, you have the option to add a program note for a discounted price of $25!

With the purchase of a talk back, I will facilitate a roughly 45-minute post-show, Q-and-A style discussion with the audience to provide them with personalized insight into your production. If possible, I would ideally be accompanied by two to three members of your company—including the direction team, creative team, design team, cast, etc. If local, talk backs can occur in-person at a higher rate.
